About us

Bindi Books KZN was founded by the Hiralal sisters of Pietermaritzburg, KZN, South Africa.

Aside from the beautiful saris and gold jewelry that characterize much of the Indian subcontinent’s culture, one of the most internationally- known body adornments worn by Hindu women around the world is the bindi.

The Hiralal Sister’s shared love for their rich, vibrant culture and all things sparkly and pretty which prompted them to establish Bindi Books KZN.

We look forward to helping all our old and loyal customers as well as welcome many more new customers to our Bindi Family.
